NFPA: The NFPA mission is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by developing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. NOREL Serves on the following committees: NFPA 76, NFPA 909, and is participating in the development of NFPA 720. NOREL's President is on the Board of Directors at NFPA.

SFPE: The purpose of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) is to advance the science and practice of fire protection engineering and its allied fields, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members and to foster fire protection engineering education. NOREL is a member of the National and Local New England Chapter.

AFAA: American Fire Alarm Association is established to be the foremost industry advocate organization dedicated to improving the quality and reliability of Fire and Life-Safety Systems by providing high quality training and education programs aimed at promoting code compliant installations along with appropriate ongoing inspection, testing and maintenance of these systems. Massachusetts Electrical Contractors Association: MECA's goal as a value-added resource is to provide an advantage to each member's operation and bottom line through communication, education, and legislation. We keep members up-to-date with our legislative initiatives that protect the rights of contractors.

Massachusetts System Contractors Association: The MSCA is a trade association of  companies that are in the systems contractor business. We are dedicated to the education and promotion of the use of fire warning, security, and other power limited devices and systems including telephony, data, audio, and video for the safety, convenience, and protection of the public.
