SALES REPRESENTATIVE: Monitoring, Fire Service, Fire Testing, Parts
SUMMARY: Sell contracts for our Monitoring, Fire Service, Fire Testing, and Parts services via follow-up on received leads and cold-calling prospective clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meets with prospects and clients and handles incoming calls to provide quotations for new business, renewals or changes.
- Prepares proposals, quotations, and other sales documents.
- Follows all required procedures to complete the sale, provides proper and accurate information to process the order and ensures that all necessary information is available.
- Attends various trade shows to generate leads/business.
- Maintains Expiration Lists in order to renew services as they come up.
- Creates and maintains computer files and suspense for any needed follow-up action.
- Processes new business, renewal, cancellation and changes.
- Works to maintain high client retention and work to attain/exceed annual Sales goals.
- Pursues a program of personal and professional development by attending seminars and classes in related field.
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
Looking for motivated self-starter

FIRE ALARM INSTALL TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY: Performs Installation, repair and maintenance on a wide variety of Fire Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of Fire Alarm Systems, Tenant Fit-Outs.
- Ability to install Raceway, Circuit Conductors, Back Boxes, Devices, some Programming, perform Pre-Test and Final Test, Complete NFPA documents.
- Also performs repairs, maintenance, installation of devices, all under NFPA regulations and standards.
- Provides Plug-Out/Plug-In services to customers who are undergoing renovations or extensive repairs/upgrades.
- Participates in On-Call schedule.
- Maintains proper inventory in vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to run jobs and direct other employees.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity of basic Fire alarm and Security devices. CCTV and Access Control experience also desired.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to interact with all levels of customers and officials.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience with Fire Alarms and related devices.
LICENSES
MA, NH and/or RI Licenses – Fire Alarm License, Electrical preferred.
FIRE SPRINKLER TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY
Performs Sprinkler repair, maintenance, and some installation on a wide variety of Fire Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs repairs, maintenance, of Sprinkler devices.
- Inputs work data via Service slips and electronic data base for billing purposes and job costing.
- Maintains proper inventory in vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity of basic sprinkler systems associated devices.
- Familiarity with PDA devices.
- Ability to produce legible and understandable investigation reports.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School education or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience with Sprinkler Systems, and related devices.
LICENSES
- MA and/or RI Sprinkler License.
- Valid Driver's License necessary.
FIRE PUMP TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY
Performs repair and maintenance on fire pumps, dry valves, pre-action, and sprinkler systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assess the need for repair and maintenance.
- Performs repairs, maintenance, inspection and testing.
- Inputs work data via service slips and electronic database for billing purposes and job costing.
- Maintains proper inventory in vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lead a crew.
- Familiarity with fire pumps, dry valves, pre-action and sprinkler systems.
- Working knowledge and experience with fire pumps and equipment, fire pump rooms and high voltage areas.
- Familiarity with PDA devices.
- Ability to produce legible and understandable investigation reports.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School education or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Fire Pumps and related systems and devices.
LICENSES
- Class D Electrical License required
- Valid Driver's License necessary
- MA and/or RI Sprinkler License Class D Electrical License preferred
FIRE/SECURITY SERVICE TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY
Performs repair, maintenance, and some installation on a wide variety of Fire Systems and Security Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs repairs, maintenance, installation of devices, all under NFPA regulations and standards.

FIRE ALARM TESTER
SUMMARY
Performs testing and inspection of Fire and Sprinkler Alarm Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test, inspect and report on a variety of systems, fire alarms, sprinkler alarms and fire panels
- Conduct fire alarm and sprinkler (wet & dry systems) alarm device testing
- Complete testing report with full documentation
- Ability to correct minor deficiencies during testing, replace battery and fire alarm device(s)
- Team Player
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow up, with attention to detail
- Participate in On-Call schedule
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Familiarity of basic fire alarm devices and panels.
- Computer and communication skills.
