NOREL Service acquired National Fire & Security Company in 2009 and Flagship Security Company in 2012, both Massachusetts-based companies. These acquisitions were executed in order for us to expand our provision of a more comprehensive line of exceptional fire protection systems, security products and added-value service. Currently, we provide a full line of integrated fire and security solutions and are recognized as a one-stop shop.
We are proud to be a Veteran-owned company. Since 2017, the Boston Business Journal has listed us as one of the largest Veteran-owned companies in Massachusetts.
The USS Constitution, a United States Naval frigate, is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world. It was named by George Washington and was first launched in 1797. The ship was built in Boston’s North End and it is completely constructed of wood.
In 1980, the USS Navy chose NOREL Service as the sole source contractor to design and install a fire alarm system aboard the ship. It was an honor we took seriously. We have been servicing “Old Ironsides” (nicknamed for its strength against cannonballs) ever since. Our logo is a depiction of the original USS Constitution master firebox.
